At Grace Church Summer Day Camp, your kids will spend the summer having fun and making memories! The days will be packed with games, crafts, activities, local outings (including trips to the Kutztown Pool and Park), daily Bible time, and weekly themes. Our trained and background-checked staff will help to ensure a positive and safe environment for your kids. Camp is available for all kids who are entering kindergarten through sixth grade.

2025 Dates and Times

Summer Day Camp is a 9 week program during summer months, Monday through Friday, at Grace Church Kutztown. There are 3 sessions with the following dates: Session 1 - June 9-13, 16-20, 23-27 Session 2 - July 7-11, 14-18, 21-25 Session 3 - August 4-8, 11-15, 18-22 Camp hours are from 9am - 4pm. |
Check-In and Check-Out
Check-In will begin at 8:30am each day. An adult must sign in each kid in the foyer of the church, entering upon the front doors.
Check-Out begins at 3:45pm. We do require that all kids are picked up no later than 4:30pm. If you need to pick your child up earlier in the day, please notify the staff at check-in so that we will have your child back at the church. We require an adult that is listed on the Authorized Child Pick-Up form to present a photo ID to sign out campers. Please note that if the adult is not listed on the Authorized Child Pick-Up form, we cannot release the camper to them.
Check-Out begins at 3:45pm. We do require that all kids are picked up no later than 4:30pm. $175/week per child.
We offer a discount of 20% for additional siblings.
Because of camp capacity, a $50 non-refundable deposit is required per child per week to lock in your spot.
The deposits will be deducted from weekly balances. Remaining weekly balances are due by the Monday prior to each week of camp. We accept online payments, the link is on the registration page.
If you would like to pay for multiple weeks up front, we are offering discounts. If you pay for all 9 weeks at registration, you will get $175 off. If you pay for 6 weeks at register on, you will get $100 off. If you pay for 3 weeks at registration, you get $75 off.

Weekly Themes
SESSION 1
|
Week 1 (June 9-13) ~ AROUND THE WORLD: Each day this week will be spent exploring a different country. We will discover some traditions and landmarks of each country by playing games and making crafts.
Week 2 (June 16-20) ~ STEM: STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. Join us for a week of hands-on building, creating, exploring, and experimenting! Week 3 (June 23-27) ~ ART AND CREATIVITY: This week we will complete various art projects and crafts as we discover the creative process! |
SESSION 2

Week 4 (July 7-11) ~ HOLIDAYS: This week, we will discover the different holidays our country celebrates: Thanksgiving, 4th of July, and Easter. We will spend two days celebrating Christmas in July, which will include wearing Christmas Pajamas and playing winter-themed games!
Week 5 (July 14-18) ~ SPORTS AND GAMES: Join us for a week of sport games, board games, card games, and more games! Week 6 (July 21-25) ~ DISNEY: We will spend the week playing games, making crafts, and doing other activities centered around our favorite Disney movies and characters! |

Week 7 (August 4-8) ~ SUMMER OLYMPICS: Get ready for a sports themed week where we will explore what it looks like to have good sportsmanship, while hosting our own mini Olympics!
Week 8 (August 11-15) ~ BEACH WEEK: The beach is a very popular summer vacation location. This will be a week filled with water games and other activities you would do at the beach! Week 9 (August 18-22) ~ MUSIC TALENT SHOW: This week, we will discover our musical talents and what makes us unique. From playing different instruments, to singing, to dancing, to making music videos, kids will have a blast learning how music can impact our lives. We will even have our own Talent Show at the end of the week, so be prepared to show us what you can do! |
Bible Time

This summer, we will be learning about Celebrities of the Old Testament!
The Bible is one story of God's love for us, told through 66 books. These books are separated into two sections, the Old Testament (OT) and the New Testament (NT). Many popular Bible stories come from characters in the OT. We will spend time learning about OT Bible Characters like Abraham, Moses, David, etc. We will discover their roles in God's big story. Bible Time is 1 hour each day. It will include games, crafts, and other activities about the characters we learn about and their stories. Some days we will watch the beloved So & So Show or another Bible-based video to engage kids, and some days we may even act out the Bible stories ourselves! |

If you do not have a 2025 Kutztown Pool Pass, the daily fee is $6 for Kutztown residents and $10 per non-residents. On movie days (Thursdays), children can bring a blanket, pillow, and stuffy if they choose.
