At Grace Church, we provide a children's ministry for children grades kindergarten through fifth grade during the 10:15AM service on Sunday mornings.
Dynamic Environment
Our elementary ministry (called "Grow Elementary") is staffed by trained, background-checked volunteers. We have regular small group leaders who create continuity in a dynamic environment in which our kids participate in worship, interactive storytelling, crafts, and games. Kids will go from having a wonder of who God is into seeing how the faith is lived out in everyday life. Whether honesty, individuality, service, or wisdom, our elementary kids are going to stick with a particular theme each month as they grow in their understanding of what a walk with God looks like in during the elementary years.
Curriculum
Through the use of ReThink's "252 Basics" curriculum, we are going to present God's truths in a way that is memorable, understandable, and doable for our kids. In keeping with our commitment to partnering with families, each week, we provide a take-home resource for parents that helps continue the faith conversations that take place on a Sunday morning into the home throughout the week. We also provide a take-home resource for kids; Devotionals that help kids make their Sunday faith an everyday faith. We work hard to provide incentives to get your kid excited about spending time in the Bible and in prayer throughout the week!
