"I love Grace Church because of how welcoming everyone is. As soon as I walk in, I see a smiling face saying hello to me. You don't feel left out. The music is very nice and the messages are always very clear and relatable to my life!”
This is one of our college students, Alicia Glenn. Since we met Alicia at Freshman Move-In two years ago, God has orchestrated the details of her life to bring her to this place where she is excited about growing in her faith. It's also encouraging to us, as a church, that, when we put ourselves out there to reach college students, God is faithful.
"One of the great privileges I get to have in my life is helping out with the college ministry at Grace Church. I can remember back to that time in my life and how important it was that I had godly women who were just a little further down the road in their faith and their lives, pouring their lives into mine. To think of all the prayer, small group time, tears of sadness & joy, and life change that happened with these leaders, I wouldn't trade it for anything. It felt like an investment I'd never be able to repay. For me, that's some of the many, many reasons why I love helping with the college group, to be for someone else what someone freely gave me. Time, love, support, encouragement, prayer, biblical teaching, and more time."
Thank you so much for sharing these wonderful words, Mary Kate Mannino! Grace Church loves you and appreciates all you do!
"One of the things I love about Grace Church is how welcome my daughter and I felt from the moment we stepped inside. I had been searching for a church that was passionate and sincere about helping its members know Jesus and could help my daughter and I on our journey to grow closer to Him. I have found that in Grace. Each Sunday my daughter is excited to go to “Grow”. I appreciate the teaching material we’re sent home with each week because it lets me know what she is learning and helps me keep talking to her about Jesus during the week. The curriculum makes it fun. I am in awe of what she is learning and the fact that Jesus is becoming important to her. I cannot thank Grace enough for that! I'm looking forward to continuing to grow and finding ways to serve in the church."
This is Jessica O'Neil. We love what she has to say about Grace Church and Grow.
