Ryan Westerbaan coordinates our communication at Grace Church, overseeing our website, app, and social media. Ryan also creates the sermon-based displays seen in the front of the sanctuary and video tapes our Sunday sermons weekly.
What Ryan loves most about his ministry at Grace is reaching out to people via the website, app, and social media. When not serving at Grace, Ryan is working to finish his Bachelors of Arts in Communication Studies and Public Relations at KU. He also enjoys reading Christian books that further his faith and has devoted his life to serving God through ministry.
Be sure to thank Ryan for all the ways he serves at Grace Church!
McKenzie serves at Grace through Manna, a Youth Group small group leader, and assists with Grow Preschool.
She loves that through these roles, she’s able to get to know people of all different ages within the church and gets to be a part of this wonderful community. She also loves how much Grace makes her feel like she’s part of a great big family. When she’s not serving at Grace, McKenzie loves to color, hang out with friends, watch sunsets, and pet dogs.
Thank You McKenzie for everything you do for Grace!
Pete serves as a drummer on our worship team and as a member of our Finance Commission. What Pete loves most about serving at Grace are the people, the community, and how God has been working through the Grace family and growing it. When Pete isn’t serving at Grace you can find him teaching CNC Precision Machining at Berks Career and Technology Center, working as an author for Cengage Learning, working at his rental property, or running his machine shop side-business. In his spare time, he loves spending time with his wife and kids, metal fabrication, automotive modification, machining, or woodworking. When you get a chance, be sure to thank Pete for all the ways he serves at Grace!
Thank you Daniel Meyers for all it is you do to change lives of the youth in our community through Grace! Check out Daniel's full Grace Story!
Steve serves as our Manna coordinator at Grace Church where he loves seeing the many varied people who faithfully serve at Manna as well as the people Grace Church serves through Manna each month.
Steve recently retired and in his spare time is enjoying the opportunity to exercise and read daily. He's also looking forward to cycling in the warmer weather and having more time to spend with his wife, Margie, and for visiting their daughters in Maryland and California.
When you see Steve, be sure to thank him for the ways he faithfully serves at Grace!
Pat has been leading a small group on Tuesday evenings for about 15 years. She is a gifted small group leader who uses her gifts to shepherd the women in her group toward a vibrant, growing faith in Jesus. When Pat's not working her day job as a nurse, spending long hours planning her Bible studies, or assisting on Grace’s Media Team, you can find her doing counted cross-stitch, knitting, reading, watching old movies, or kayaking! Be sure to thank her for the many hours she invests in the lives of women!
Thank you Alexis for how you serve at Grace with your amazing talent! Check out Alexis's "Grace Story" video!
This week we salute Judy Wagaman, who serves faithfully as a Preschool Small Group Leader in Grow. Judy is a dedicated volunteer who gives multiple hours a week, and even attends a service and serves in a service on Sundays, so that children can learn about Jesus! Miss Judy, as she's affectionately known by our preschoolers, says this about volunteering in Grow: "I love teaching the small group because I love children, although sometimes you never know what they will say or ask. They are sweet and loving and eager to learn." Thanks, Judy, for your dedication and sacrifice as you serve faithfully!
Kassidy Rineer has been a volunteer at Grace Church since November of 2016. She regularly volunteers with the Welcome Team and the Nursery, and on some occasions, has helped with Manna and Grow. Kassidy is a self-proclaimed extrovert; volunteering at Grace gives Kassidy an opportunity to completely be who God created her to be—she loves that she gets to make first-time guests feel at home. Outside of volunteering at Grace, Kassidy works as a writer and editor in Allentown. For fun, she volunteers with Cru, and in her free time, enjoys dabbling in creative hobbies.
Thank you Kassidy for everything you do for Grace and the community!
