4/25/2017 Judy Mauro"I've only served one year in VBS at Grace Church, but the opportunity to reach a child for Christ is the motivation. For a young life to embark on a relationship with the Lord and be saved is what it's all about, isn't it!"
This summer VBS will be June 19th-23th. Our theme is Gadgets &Gizmos!! It will be a week of music, laughter, moving around, and learning! Our kids are going to learn how we are all uniquely wired and wonderfully made for a purpose - to help, to love, and to shine! Thank you Judy Mauro for all your help and the fun you brought to the VBS team last summer! It was great seeing the relationships between our volunteers grow closer as they taught our children about Jesus! We are already counting down the days until this year's VBS! 4/18/2017 Dana Burkholder![]() "One thing I was nervous about when coming to college at Kutztown was that I would struggle to find a church, and if I did find one, that it would be composed primarily of college students. I love Grace because its members are from all stages of life, all levels of spiritual maturity, with one common purpose: to learn Biblical truths about our Lord. I am thankful for every relationship I've built at Grace, whether it be with older women in the congregation who are able to offer mature insight into my life or little children I get to hang out with in the nursery." Meet Dana Burkholder! She is one of our college students here at Grace Church. Dana has been coming to Grace Church since her first week at Kutztown and is actively involved with our college nights and has volunteered in the nursery on Sunday mornings. We love seeing when people find an area of our church to serve in that they are passionate about! Next time you see Dana, be sure to say hello! 4/11/2017 Lenny Kuntz![]() "Serving on staff at Grace has been a true blessing. Working with people who are completely dedicated to helping others come to know Jesus and grow in Him has also helped me in my service and daily journey in Christ. The volunteers who serve on the media team have also been great to work with. There have been many changes and upgrades to our media ministries in the past several months and the team has done well. Worshiping and serving here has been a great experience and I’m looking forward to the bright future of what God has in store for Grace Church." Meet Lenny Kuntz! He is our technical director and has been working on staff since mid-September of 2016. We are so appreciative of everything he does to help our Sunday mornings flow and of everything else he does throughout the week! We love the warm and welcoming presence he brings to our church! Next time you see Lenny, be sure to thank him for all the behind-the-scenes serving he does around Grace! Thanks, Lenny! 4/4/2017 Bryan Hoover![]() "What I like about being on the Welcome Team is that I feel like it's a great way to serve God and the body of Christ. I like talking to people and if God can use me to welcome people into the church, then I can't ask for anything more than that. It's a really great experience getting to invite people in to worship the Lord" This is Bryan Hoover! He has been serving on the Welcome Team at Grace Church for 4 months now. We love having him, and many other new people, as an exciting addition to our team! Our Welcome Team is an important part of Grace Church, helping our attendees feel welcomed and comfortable every week. Thanks, Bryan, for serving in a way that you feel called to! |
