"Grace Church is simply a genuine and loving body of Christ. I really enjoy attending Grace on Sunday mornings and also the College Night on Tuesday evenings. I've learned so much in just this past semester and I can't wait to soak up even more of God's Word! There are so many ways to get plugged into the church and the community and I can't wait to explore those avenues throughout my college experience. Everyone at Grace is just so welcoming and caring to anyone who walks in their doors. I've found some of my sweetest friendships at Grace and I can't wait to spend my next 3 and 1/2 years there as a college student."
This is Kathleen Kinley, one of our Kutztown University students who calls Grace Church home while she's at KU. In just about a week Kat and her fellow students will be heading back to Kutztown. Let's pray for them as they make their transition back to university life!
We would like to highlight Greg Koch and Lisa Landis Koch for their involvement in Grace Church's Married People program. When asked what keeps Lisa going to Married People she said:
"Married People at Grace gives us an opportunity to know more members of our Grace Family, meet new people, have a really fun time, and learn new ways to think about our communication and relationship. We love the fellowship and the way the topics are rolled into fun, laughter-filled activities. The best part is the time we get to spend together and the great conversation that follows after we leave."
We love the smiles and energy this couple brings to Married People, but especially their desire to grow more. Thank you Lisa and Greg!
Part of our Married People strategy is equipping individual couples because (admit it) life is hectic and sometimes we feel like we're too busy to focus on our relationship. We want to provide a little nudge here and there to help couples remember just how important it is to have one-on-one time. If you and your spouse are interested, contact us or visit our website for more information! Our next event will be this Saturday, January 28th!!
"I think one of the most gratifying things for me is thinking of the moms of the past and the moms of 2017 and observing that the moms of our group are still passionate about being believers in Jesus! What a blessing! This gives me hope for not only the present, but the future as well. We live in uncertain times, and we need the mothers of the next generation to be strong believers!
Thank you Jesus for these moms!"
Sally Shane has been a mentor for Moms with Grace for around 15 years now! We cannot thank her enough for her humble dedication to the Grace family and her desire to see this ministry grow.
Moms With Grace meets on the second Wednesday morning of every month at Grace Church. This group is open to any mother who is expecting a child or has children up to middle school age. Moms from the community are invited to attend!
